About the doctor

FOCUSED ON THE HEALTH AND SUPPORT AROUND TEETH AND IMPLANTS

Dr. Amir Jamsheed evaluates and treats patients with gum disease, deep periodontal pockets, loose teeth and inflammation or bone loss around dental implants. His work includes the Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP®) and the Laser-Assisted Peri-Implantitis Procedure (LAPIP®) for appropriately selected patients.

Technology is only one part of good care. Dr. Jamsheed’s approach begins with a clinical examination, appropriate imaging and a discussion of the patient’s goals. Patients should understand their diagnosis, available options, realistic limitations and long-term maintenance needs before choosing treatment.

If a tooth or implant cannot reasonably be preserved, that should also be explained clearly. The aim is informed decision-making—not a one-size-fits-all recommendation.

PREPARING FOR AN EVALUATION

What should I bring?

Bring a current medication list, relevant dental records or imaging if available, and information about previous gum or implant treatment.

Can I request a second opinion?

Yes. A focused evaluation can review the diagnosis, available imaging and treatment options before you make a decision.

Will treatment happen the same day?

The first priority is a clear diagnosis. Timing depends on the findings, medical history and the care plan discussed with you.
